Complexity is scored separately for the burst and conservation (mana-efficient) rotations, from how often you press a different spell than the one before it in the 30 s timeline. Long chains of the same spell are easy, and constant switching is hard. Non-repeated casts per 30 s: 1–2 = 1, 3–5 = 2, 6–9 = 3, 10–13 = 4, 14+ = 5. Before-the-pull and situational casts don't count.
